Defense Only Camp-$200-8:30am-11:30am Mon-Fri
For the first time RHA is offering a camp specifically designed to develop defensive skills. This half day camp will feature 1.45 hours of on ice instruction focusing on the skills required for defenseman including: gap control, stick positioning, communication, angling, shooting, outlet passes, pivoting and much more. Players will also spend 1.15 hours off ice on conditioning skills designed to improve shooting, footwork, agility and strength all the while striving to reach each players maximum potential. Stick handling and Shooting Camp-$150-12:00-3pm
RHA is offering a Stick Skill specific camp. This camp will feature 1.45 hours of on ice instruction along with 1.15 hours of off ice instruction focusing on all aspects of stick handling including puck protection, body positioning, deking, puck control, hand placement, and puck handling at top speed. The camp will also teach various goal scoring skills including shooting, tip ins, finding open space and shooting on the move.

Game Skills Camp
Game skills camp for goalies and player, featuring Bob Janosz from Janosz Goaltending School and The Rochester Hockey Academy- visit www.bobjanosz.com for registration and pricing.
This camp is for goalies and players. Goales will be put into game like conditions and receive specialized goalie instruction from Bob Janosz. Players will receive instruction in shooting and scoring in game like situations. (July 23-27) MCC
Hockey Camp $199-9am-3:30pm
Players will be on the ice for 3 hours a day working with the RHA instructors. Players will be put through fun and challenging drills aimed at having fun while still developing the skills necessary to become a successful hockey player. We will focus on three specific skill sets powerskating, stickhandling and shooting. Powerskating will feature techniques to improve high speed skating and carrying the puck while going full speed. Other skills of focus include balance, stride length, edges, lateral movement, forward/backwards skating, turning and explosive stops and starts. The stickhandling skills will focus on puck protection, body positioning, deking, puck control, hand placement and puck handling at top speed. Shooting skills focused on are goal scoring skills such as tip ins, finding open space, and shooting on the move.

POWER Skating/Hockey Skills Camp $275-9am-3:30
This camp will be modeled after the very popular powerskating/hockey skills class Erika and Rory have throughout the year. This camp features Erika Stone of Stone Power Skating as well as RHA instructors. Players will alternate between learning various powerksating skills such as, high speed skating and carrying the puck at high rates of speed. Other skills focused on during power skating include: balance, stride length, edges, lateral movement, forwards/backwards skating, power turns, explosive stops and starts and turns to help maximize power and speed. Skills focused on during the hockey portion of the camp include stickhandling passing and shooting. This camp is a very unique experience aimed at giving players something different from the normal hockey school routine. (July 30-August 3) $275
Team Camps
RHA also offers week long camps designed to give your team an early jump on the season. These team specific camp allows your players to work closely with RHA instructors developing specific skills while doing drills designed specifically for your team.

The staff at RHA is made up of instructors with extensive hockey experience. They work with players of all levels from beginners to pros. The off-ice conditioning is with highly credible trainers who have the experience of working with some of the best young athletes in the country.

Who Can Attend the Camps?
All players whether boys or girls at all levels are invited to our camps. At the beginner level we ask that each player can skate and stop, we will do the rest. On the first ice session the players will be broken up into groups based on skill and age to ensure that they receive the proper coaching and training.
How do I know which camp to attend
RHA offers multiple camps which cover all aspects of hockey skills. Each camp will have a theme, those skills will be the primary focus for the week. However, every camp will strongly emphasize skating which will help to improve each player’s speed and quickness.
